Kitchen, Bath and Other Small Rugs
Many, if not most, small rugs can be machine-washed safely. Check your rug's label, or check the manufacturer's website. If machine washing is allowed, your best choice is our large commercial machines. Pre-treat any stains, then wash using the gentle cycle and a mild detergent. All our machines rinse three times, and they'll spin most of the water out. Please do not wash rugs if the rubber backing has deteriorated and is coming off. The rug's backing will come off when it is washed and break the washer and clog the drain. Thanks for your understanding. If you want to dry rugs, use low heat and check frequently. It's not advisable to dry rugs with rubber backing.
